Prof. D. Javaregowda, retired Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, will inaugurate the event at 10 am. District in-charge Minister G.T. Devegowda, will preside. Minister H.S. Mahadeva Prasad, will be the chief guest. Film producers Sandesh Nagaraj, Chinne Gowda, will be present. Veteran actor K.S. Ashwath will be felicitated.

Tributes will be paid to the thespian by film actors as well as television artistes, litterateurs and others. Selected songs from Dr. Rajkumar”s films will be rendered during the day-night programme.The audience will be treated to a musical extravaganza by Blue Boys Orchestra comprising singers Gangotri Rangaswamy, Surekha, Chandrika Gururaj, Jogi Sunitha, Kumar and others. Free passes can be obtained from the office of the TV channel near Chamundi Vihar Stadium. Raghu urged the Mysore City Corporation to name an important road after Dr. Rajkumar. Biligiri Ranganath of the TV channel was present.
