The Shivarajkumar Fans’ Association organized the protest following damage to Kannada thespian Dr Rajkumar’s bust at Nayandahalli on Sunday. Some shopkeepers at Pantarapalya downed their shutters to express solidarity with the protesters.

Actor and Dr Rajkumar’s son Shivarajkumar urged the fans to protest peacefully. He requested them to lodge a police complaint instead of blocking roads.
