Rajkumar’s family floats trust

The family members of Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar on Tuesday announced setting up of a family trust aimed at social service, on the occasion of late thespian’s 79th birth anniversary celebrations.

Briefing reporters in Bangalore, writer-filmmaker and trust member Baragur Ramachandrappa said it would take up activities in the fields of health, education and culture. Parvathamma Rajkumar said the family had invested Rs 5 lakh in the trust to begin with. “Besides, we will also pump in a part of the family income to the trust every year to carry out service activities,” she added.
