Rajkumar memorial will be made culture centre

Two years and seven months after Rajkumar’s death, the much-delayed foundation stone for his memorial was laid by chief minister B S Yeddyurappa at Kanteerava Studio on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Yeddyurappa promised the government’s complete support in establishing the memorial. He said, “Today if Dr Rajkumar were alive, he would have rejoiced the classical status conferred on Kannada. He was always in the forefront for the cause of Kannada and Kannadigas. Had he been interested in politics, he would have definitely become the chief minister. But he was not interested in power nor in the chair, dedicating himself to the Kannada film industry.”

    I am Pradeep, a great fan of our annavaru, appaaji, Dr Rajkumar. Dr Rajkumar’s contribution towards the society is really godly, even i have his photo frame in my living room and every time i see him he inspires me a lot he fills up an enthusiasm in doing things sincerely and punctually i love him respect him and worhship him, people has to learn so many things from his movies, he is the library of morals, love and respect.Any body wants to become a complete human being i wish them to watch all our annavara movies, which transforms any kind of human being to a civilized and lovable person. The words are not enough to describe his godly nature.

    His nature, behaviour is so innocent really all his fans misses him so much i hope Our beloved Dr Raj listens to all our lovely wishes.
