The icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajakumar was remembered on April 24, his 80th birth anniversary. One huge idol in standing posture of Dr.Rajakumar was inaugurated prior to the launch of Puneeth Rajakumar’s ‘Raaj – the showman’ at National college grounds.

Very near to this place in Chamrajpet Dr.Rajakumar in the get of ‘Lord Raghavendra Swamy’ the role he played in ‘Sri Mantralaya Mahatme’ was inaugurated by Raghavendra Rajakumar.

The huge 40 feet idol of Dr.Rajkumar inaugurated before the start of the muhurat will be placed at Santosh, Narthaki and Sapna theatres complex on busy KG Road. For the muhurat of ‘Raaj – the showman’ the fifth directorial venture of hat trick director Prem had the attendance of Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar, Raghavendra and Shivarajakumar.
