Jayanti gets prestigious Dr Rajkumar award

At a glittering function here on Tuesday night, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy accompanied by Govind Karjol and Basavaraj Horatti Ministers, Veeranna Charantimath MLA and officers of Information department presented state film awards for 2005-06.

‘Abhinaya Sharade’ Jayanti received the prestigious Dr Rajkumar award, V Ravichandran, Puttanna Kanagal award, S Ramchandra, lifetime achievement award, Shivarajkumar and Pavitra Lokesh received the best actor and actress awards respectively while master Kishan received the best child artiste award.
