Fans, family pay homage to Rajkumar
Hundreds of people, on Monday, gathered at the late actor Rajkumar’s grave in Kanteerava Studios and paid homage to their favourite actor on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary. Rajkumar passed away on April 12, 2006. Members of Rajkumar’s family including Parvathamma, Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Punit Rajkumar performed special pooja.
The family members had arranged mass feeding on the occasion. The fans observed the occasion by offering flowers to the actor’s portrait kept at the venue. Shivarajkumar, speaking to the media said, the memorial being built for Rajkumar at Kanteerava Studios would be completed by November this year. The State Government had been cooperative with the family members in constructing the memorial, he added.

Dr. Raj is the role model of the kannadigas. His kannada language has inspired so many non-kannadigas to learn kannada and kannadigas to improve their kannada pronounciation. He was role model both in reel and real life. His simplicity, wiseness, have took him to hrudaya simhasana of every kannadigas. His acting is superb and uncomparable. His performence in eradu kanasu, bangarada manushya, bhale jodi, doorada betta, mayura, Sree Raghavendra mahatme, kasturi nivasa, daari tappida maga ….. uncountable movies, and each and every film that were paired with Bharathi were worth watching. Surely no actor with so many good qualities would have existed on earth i feel look at his life style simple disciplined yoga,quality movies with message to society no drinks,cigrette,devotinoal songs,acting detective,mythological,historical,social,any type fit for the role is rajkumar, look he doesnt wear any ornament he wears a dothi and white shirt and just folds both is hands and says his fans are god who has the guts to survive in jungle for more than 108 days with a brigand like veerappan and above all he donated his eyes to make two people to see this world. He never said no for kannada cause he acted only in kannada and lived a life for kannada died for kannada and he was given palkhe,padma vibhushana its not enough and he still lives in the hearts of millions of fans that his his biggest award.
