Book on Dr RajKumar to be released in Shimoga
A Kannada book titled ‘Kannada Kalakantheerava Dr Rajkumar’ will be released at 6 pm in Kuvempu Rangamandir on October 15, said its editor Gouri Sundar. Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, he said that Minister for Water Resources K S Eshwarappa will release the book and Karnataka Media Academy president V N Subbarao will preside over the function.
Achievers of different fields including Dr Ashok Pai, Na D’souza, Vijayashri, Ganesh Karnik, H T Manjunath, B M Annapurnamma, Rudregowda, T B Jayanna, M S Sundararaj, K Vasudevachar, Rukminamma will be felicitated on the occasion. Geeta Gayana Vadya Vrunda will render songs sung by Dr Rajkumar, he said.
The book is 60th contribution of Sundara Prakashana. It is comprising of totally 307 articles and 300 photographs. Articles were written by renowned artists, writers and politicians, he said. Pratibharanga president M S Sundararaj, Vijayashri, K Vasudevachar and Rukminamma were present.
