Rajkumar was fondly remembered by Rotarians at a special function organised in his memory by Rotary Centennial Presidents Forum on Thursday. The function was attended by Parvathamma Rajkumar and son Raghavendra.
Speaking at the function, Raghavendra recalled his father’s influences in his life. “When we joined the film industry, my father never taught us how to act. Instead, he taught us how to behave with the rest of the film crew,” he said. Calling his father a “humble human being”, Raghavendra said “Rajkumar’s moral stand as an honest man was not limited to films alone, he lived his ideals even in real life.”“We have often wondered how my father could be so unaffected by all the fame and recognition he earned. Despite his success, he remained composed till the end. He lived peacefully, he died peacefully,” Raghavendra reminisced.
